Sekolah Ugama Batang Mitus, Tutong visits Golden Corporation Sdn Bhd

Golden Corporation SdnBhd a leading producer of seafood-related products in Brunei, welcomeda group of 25 students aged between 7 and 10 of the SekolahUgamaBatangMitus, Tutong. This group of students is currently in Year 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6.

Dubbed The Multi-Purpose Marine Resources Processing and Business Centre, the facility is a result of collaboration between Semaun Marine Resources SdnBhd and foreign direct investor Golden Corporation Sdn Bhd.

The group was welcomed on arrival and taken on a first-hand tour by the company’s Managing Director, Mr. Richard Chuang Hsi Shan and other staff of the company. 

The visit enabled them to gain experience and ideas on the daily operations in various sections and this visit was headed by RaudinHj. Abd. Rahman (Religious Teacher of SekolahUgmaBatangMitos, Tutong).

Golden Corporation SdnBhd has been operating at the Serambangun industrial estate in Tutong. Its principal business is in aquaculture and seafood processing of fish and shrimp. The company also provides assistance and technical know-how to local shrimp and fish aqua-farmers. At present, the company caters to the domestic and Asian regional markets, and is in the process of finalizing exports to both the US and EU market.
