In an interview, Valeerat Sakornphan, Director of Media and Information Management Division of the Foreign Office PRD who is leading the delegation, said she was least expecting to see export-oriented industries such as these here.

She noticed that the district is developing slowly but steadily from the ground up. She said this phase is good for balanced growth, developing manufacturing industry and at the same time protecting nature through eco and agro tourism.

The delegation kicked off its Tutong programme with a visit to Tutong District Office, where they attended a briefing and dialogue led by Haji Haizul bin Haji Yahya, Special Duties Officer at the Tutong District Office.
